MACPHERSONSuddenly but peacefully at Crosshouse Hospital on Wednesday 29th August 2012, Ian aged 73. Beloved husband of Rita (and the late Dorothy), loving father of Ian and Diane. Much loved grandpa and great grandpa to all the family. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy and cards received in the recent sad loss of Ian. Special thanks to Rev. Jeanette Whitecross and Rev. Marion Howie for spiritual comfort at this time, to Betty Gillies and staff at Masonic for catering and to John Bennett for excellent funeral arrangements. The funeral service took place on Wednesday 5th September 2012 at Abbey Church, Kilwinning and thereafter at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium.
